New Zealand: change in beer available for consumption by alcohol content 2023

In the year ended December 2023, the amount of beer containing at least five percent alcohol in New Zealand had decreased by approximately 3.2 percent compared to December of the previous year. Over 32 million liters of beer containing at least five percent alcohol were available for consumption in New Zealand during that year. In comparison, the amount of beer containing 1.15 percent alcohol or less in New Zealand rose by around 8.1 percent.
