U.S.: mobile banking activities by generation 2021

As of May 2021, most mobile banking customers in the United States used mobile banking to check their account balance. Moreover, figures were rather similar across generations. In fact, roughly 90 percent of both senior individuals (born before 1946) and Gen Z individuals (born after 1995) performed this activity in the 12 months before May 2021. Additionally, compared to Gen Z individuals, slightly more seniors used mobile banking to pay a bill.
