Contribution of wind energy to GDP in Spain 2013-2020
In 2020, the Spanish wind energy sector was responsible for a contribution of 3.17 billion euros to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), 1.9 billion euros of which were a direct contribution. The sector's contribution to Spain's GDP grew continuously from 2014 to 2019, reaching nearly four billion euros in the latter year.
