Wind energy capacity goals set by the NECP in Spain 2020-2030
The Spanish National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) has set a target of more than 50 gigawatts of wind power installed in the country by 2030. In 2021, the wind power capacity installed in Spain had surpassed 28 gigawatts, on track with the target set until that point.
