K-pop female artist album sales share in South Korea 2022
In 2022, YG Entertainment's girl group BLACKPINK sold 11.7 percent of all albums sold in South Korea by female artists. Newly debuted girl groups were popular that year, with five of them appearing in the ranking, the highest of which was IVE, who sold 10.8 percent of albums by female artists.
