Energy-related CO2 emissions per household Japan FY 2022, by region
In fiscal year 2022, the energy-related carbon dioxide emissions per household in Hokkaido amounted to almost 4.3 tons of CO2, making it the largest polluting region in Japan. In contrast, households in Kyushu emitted energy-related emissions of about 1.88 tons of CO2 on average.
