Online car financing application and willingness to apply by U.S. buyer age group
In a survey realized in the fourth quarter of 2021, just under 100 percent of the Gen Z and millenial U.S. car buyers surveyed reported being willing to apply for financing online, with 34 percent of this age group having already used the internet to apply for car financing. These numbers dipped lightly for Baby boomers, 91 percent of which were willing to apply for financing online.
