Proposed wind power capacity additions in China by province 2022
Of provinces in China, Guangdong is expected to see the greatest wind power capacity additions. As of May 2022, nearly 28 gigawatts worth of wind power capacity was in the proposal or construction phase. This was notably more than the scale of wind farm projects in Guangxi, which ranked second with 10.2 gigawatts. By comparison, Inner Mongolia is the province with the greatest installed capacity of wind power plants.
