Japan: monthly credit card spending on personal shopping 2021

In a survey conducted in 2021, about 15.7 percent of the respondents in Japan reported spending up to 20 thousand Japanese yen on personal shopping per month using credit cards. Around 20.1 percent of cardholders did not use their credit cards to pay for personal purchases.
