Canadians thinking traditional heterosexual families should be promoted 2019, by vote
At the end of 2019, three in ten people in Canada believed that Canadian society should work to promote the traditional family model in which a woman is married to a man, rather than greater acceptance of non-heterosexual people. Among Canadians who voted Conservative in the 2019 federal election, nearly three in five believed this, compared to nine percent of New Democratic Party voters.
