The non banking financial corporations in India showed an immense growth in lending through digital mode in the financial year 2020, with around 60 percent of total loans being disbursed through digital channels. There was some decline in digitally disbursed loans as of November 2021. The country is still at a nascent stage in terms of digital lending.
