In 2021, more than 131 thousand practicing psychologists were working in Mexico. By region, the State of Mexico had the highest number of practicing psychologists in the country, with around 21.7 thousand professionals. Mexico City followed, with over 20 thousand professionals, while Colima had 685 practicing psychologists that year.
