French young workers' views on home ownership and company role in 2022, by gender
Questioned in 2022 about several statements regarding the role of the company in housing and home ownership, 88 percent of French people (87 percent of men and 90 percent of women) felt that it was increasingly difficult to become a homeowner. Three-quarters thought their employer should help employees become homeowners, and more than two-thirds believed it was less attractive to have leisure benefits than to receive housing assistance from the employer. Support for the latter statement was higher among men (73 percent) than among women (65 percent).
