Number of COVID-19 vaccine doses delivered to Africa 2022, by vaccine
As of April 25, 2022, African countries had received around 188 million doses of the Ad26COVS1 vaccine against the coronavirus (COVID-19) produced by Johnson & Johnson (J&J). This was the main vaccine delivered to Africa as of that date. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine followed, accounting for approximately 160 million doses. Moreover, AstraZeneca's doses supplied to the continent amounted to 145 million.
