U.S. new voter registrations 2021-2022
The number of people registering to vote in the United States ebbed and flowed between November 2021 and 2022. New voter registrations in 2022 peaked during the seven day period ending May 17, which followed a Supreme Court leak that indicated the Court was planning to overturn the ruling on Roe v. Wade. In that week more than 650,000 people registered to vote.
