Brazil: share of people going to the movies 2022

As of December 2022, close to one out of seven (or 14 percent) of people interviewed in Brazil reported going to the movies during the 30 days preceding the survey. In the previous years, that share always stood below 20 percent. Brazil's box office gross increased by over 90 percent in 2022.
