Share of employment in the informal sector in Mexico Q1 2019-Q2 2022, by gender
Except for the second quarter of 2020, the share of employment in the informal sector in Mexico was higher among women than men throughout the whole period under consideration. In the second quarter of 2022, 29.3 percent of working women and 28.1 percent of working men were employed in the informal sector.
