Employment figures of solar PV manufacturing in the European Union 2021, by component
In 2021, inverters accounted for the largest part of solar PV manufacturing jobs in the European Union, at nearly 31 thousand full-time equivalents (FTEs). The manufacturing of solar modules followed next, but by a wide margin, with a workforce amounting to some 7.7 thousand FTEs. That year, the European Union's solar market had employed a total of 465,595 full-time equivalents.
