Solar PV cumulative capacity in the EU-28 2013-2018

The European Union has a cumulative solar photovoltaic capacity of 114.5 gigawatts. Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, the three leading members in terms of highest cumulative solar PV capacity, combined held 68.5 percent of all EU solar PV capacity.

Moreover, the 28 EU members added 7.6 gigawatts worth of solar photovoltaic capacity as of 2018. Germany was the leading member once more, with 2,938 megawatts of PV capacity added.
