Net capacity of solar PV installed in the European Union 2017-2023

The 27 European Union members added 53.1 gigawatts worth of solar photovoltaic capacity in 2023, up from 32.8 gigawatts in 2022. Overall, this was a significant increase when compared to the previous years.
