The natural gas prices for the industry in Turkey constantly rose between 2014 and the first half of 2022. The average price of natural gas was 89.5 kuruş per cubic meter in 2014, the lowest figure recorded. Since 2021, there was a dramatic price increase for the industry, measuring over ten Turkish lira per cubic meter in the first half of 2022.
