Bulgaria had the largest share of female employees in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector among Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, at nearly 29 percent in 2022. Furthermore, slightly over a quarter of ICT employees in Romania were women. The lowest share was recorded in Czechia at 11 percent.
