Ireland: leading in-store purchases in the past 12 months

When asked which of the following items they had bought in a physical store in the past 12 months in early 2023, consumers in Ireland most frequently responded with "clothing." Specifically, approximately 70 percent of Irish respondents said they had purchased apparel in-store in the past year. Around half of surveyed consumers had also bought food, beverages, footwear, and drugstore products offline. Interestingly, about two percent of survey respondents claimed not to have purchased anything offline in the last year.
