Customer satisfaction with primary banks decreased overall between 2019 and 2023 among bank account holders in the United States, though remained above 80 percent throughout the observed period. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of bank account holders who were satisfied with their primary bank was 84 percent in the fourth quarter of 2023, three percentage points less than in the first half of 2019.
