A survey on the consumer perspective of the halal industry conducted in Indonesia in March 2023 found 54 percent of respondents always checked halal restaurants before ordering food online. In comparison, around 37 percent of respondents said they never checked whether a restaurant had a halal logo or not before ordering food online.
