Forest fires count in Kazakhstan 2019-2023
In the first five months of 2023, there were nearly 150 forest fires on the territory of Kazakhstan. The figure increased gradually over the period observed, peaking in 2022. In that year, the majority of the wildfires were registered in the Abai region.
