Nigeria: proportionality of spending on electricity usage by region 2023

According to a survey conducted in 2023, most respondents in all regions in Nigeria believed that their electricity bills are not proportional to their consumption. For the North West geo-political zone, 72 percent of the respondents reported that their electricity bills are disproportionate with their consumption, while 15 percent approved of their electricity bills.
