Opinions for union government on resolving Manipur crisis India 2023
A survey of August 2023 revealed that 44 percent of Indians wanted the union government to sack the chief minister and impose the president's rule across the Manipur state to resolve the ethnic violence on priority. The president's rule means that the central government administers the state instead of the state government. Some other opinions on Manipur crisis were to fast-track negotiations with different groups, and judicial probe.
