TV newsroom ethnicity distribution 2021

The majority of TV newsroom employees in the United States in 2020 were white, with African American staff and Hispanic and Latino employees making up less than 25 percent of the total. The survey projected that the share of Hispanic and Latino employees would increase slightly in 2021 but the forecasted percentage remains under 13 percent.
