Perception of brands engaged in social causes during festivals in India 2023
In an online survey carried out in July and August 2023 among urban adults in India, about 59 percent of respondents expressed their appreciation for brands that actively engage in social causes during festivals. In contrast, 11 percent of respondents revealed that they remain indifferent to such brand initiatives. This underscores the notion that brands aligning with meaningful social causes often cultivate strong consumer loyalty, fostering a sense of purpose that extends beyond profit.
