Opinions on spending and saving in Greater China 2023, by region

According to a survey conducted in Greater China in 2023, 31 percent of respondents from Hong Kong stated that they prioritize saving over spending, 9 percentage points more than the share of respondents from Mainland China. Compared to other options, the share of respondents prioritizing spending was notably lower on average, at only 15 percent.
