Australia: public perception of government response to potential conflict over the island of Taiwan 2023

In Australia, according to a survey conducted in 2023, 80 percent of respondents said they would support accepting refugees from the region of Taiwan in the event of a military conflict with China. 42 percent of those surveyed said that they would support sending Australian military personnel to the island to help defend it.
