Self-sufficiency rate of nut products in Turkey 2022-2023, by product

Among nut products, hazelnuts had the highest self-sufficiency rate in Turkey, at 683.5 percent between August 2022 and July 2023. In other words, the national production of hazelnuts in the country exceeded the domestic demand for that product. The lowest self-sufficiency level was recorded for almonds, at 76.5 percent.
