The value of cottonseed production in the U.S. has fluctuated from 2000 to 2021. In 2009, production was at an all-time low for this time period, at just over 600 million U.S. dollars in production value. Then in 2012, production value shot up and peaked at about 1.5 billion U.S. dollars. In 2021, production value grew again, reaching 1.3 billion U.S. dollars.
