Percent share of bicycle sales by bike category in the U.S. 2012

This graph depicts the specialty bicycle sales in the United States from 2005 to 2012. In 2010, 23 percent of all bikes sold were road/700c bicycles, 22 percent were mountain bikes, 21 percent hybrid/cross, 13 percent comfort, 12 percent youth, 6 percent cruiser and 2 percent were recumbent/tandem bicycles.
