Catering services: UK household expenditure by income 2021

According to a survey conducted in the United Kingdom, households belonging to the highest ten percent gross income decile group spent the most on catering services in the fiscal year ending 2021. On average, households belonging to this income decile group spent 30.20 British pounds weekly, 10 times as much as those in the lowest decile.

Catering services include restaurant and cafe meals, alcoholic drinks consumed away from home, take away meals eaten at home, other take away and snack food, contract catering (food) and canteens.
