Share of senior Americans who owned selected electronic devices 2013 This graph displays the share of Americans aged 65 and over who owned selected electronic devices in 2013, according to a survey conducted that same year. Of those surveyed, just under 75 percent responded that they owned cable TV and/or a VCR. Exactly 70 percent said they owned a DVD or Blu-ray player, and just over 60 percent owned a basic cellular phone. Conversely, only 15 percent said they had an account for an internet streaming service and just 10 percent owned a video game system.
