Teenagers: prevalence of cyber dating abuse 2012, by high or middle school status This statistic presents victimization and perpetration rates of cyber dating abuse among teens in a current or recent relationship, by high school or middle school status. During the 2012 survey, it was found that 27.5 percent of high school teens were victims of cyber dating abuse, in comparison to 14.1 percent of middle school teens. Cyber dating abuse includes the sending or taking of unwanted naked pictures or the unauthorised use of the victim's social networking account.
