Opinions on major threats online for young people in Italy 2019

In a survey published in 2020, cyber-bullying was perceived as the major threat that young people in Italy could experience online. Specifically, some 40 percent of individuals aged 13 to 20 years indicated online bullying as the main online danger among young people. Moreover, about 33 percent of interviewees believed that the loss of privacy represented a relevant threat, whereas 38 percent of respondents thought that becoming a target of harassment, trolling, threats, or offensive and violent language represented the main online danger.
