This statistic shows the number of licensed cars across the regions of Great Britain in 2017. The region with the highest number of licensed cars was the South East, also the most populous region of the country, with over five million cars licensed in 2017. The smallest amount of registered cars was in North East with slightly over 1 million cars. There were more than 2 and a half million licensed cars in London.
