This statistic shows how consumers rate the ease of resolving an energy supplier complaint in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2014, based on level of ease. 44 percent of consumers found resolving complaints to be easy, while 15 percent found it difficult. According to the report, those responding with "easy" to the survey question gave a score of 7 to 10, with "neither easy nor difficult" a score of 4 to 6 and with "difficult" a score of 0 to 3. The mean score among respondents amounted to 5.98, which shows the overall experience of resolving energy supplier complaints in the UK is in the "neither easy nor difficult" range for consumers.

Base included all those responsible for paying energy bills who had mains electricity, knew their electricity supplier or, in the case of absense of an electricity supplier or if they did not know who their electricity supplier was, those who had mains gas and knew who their gas supplier was.
