Mains gas and electricity distribution in Great Britain 2010-2019
Since 2012, the majority of the British respondents have mains electricity in their home. Between 2012 and 2020, figures increased from 94 percent of the respondents to 100 percent, respectively. The share of main gas in residences presented a trend of growth as well, starting at 80 percent of the respondents to the peak of 90 percent of the respondents in 2018. In 2019, proportion of respondents connected to mains gas decreased to 89 percent of the respondents.
