Volumes reached their peak in 2005/2006 at 341,000 metric tons and the lowest point was in 2011/2012 at 139,000 metric tons. Figures fluctuated during the specified time period, but generally remained significantly lower after the peak seen in 2005/2006. In 2018/2019, the waste volume stood at 158,000 metric tons.
