Lumber shipments in Canada 2014-2021
Canada’s shipment of lumber in 2021 rose by 279,100 cubic meters compared to the previous year. Softwood makes up for most of the shipment of lumber in Canada since 2019, while hardwood shipment is less significant. In fact, the country is one of the world’s largest exporters of softwood lumber. In 2021, Canada had lumber shipments amounting to 55.3 million cubic meters.
