Non-food store sales volume index in Great Britain 2008-2017, by large/small retailer This statistic shows the trend in the retail sales volume of predominantly non-food stores in Great Britain split by large and small retail businesses from 2008 to 2017. Since 2011, the volume of sales in large stores has been increasing annually, reaching an indexed value of 103.2 in 2017. The retail sales volume by smaller businesses has shown a more varying trend. The biggest increase in sales volume in these stores was seen between 2015 and 2016, when the index rose from 100 to 114.4.
