In that year, local radio ad revenue was stable at 1.13 billion Canadian dollars for the second year running, but then gradually decreased over the next few years before dipping below one billion dollars for the first time in 2017. Meanwhile, national radio ad revenues are on the up, reaching 520 million Canadian dollars in 2018.
