Caffè Nero is one of the most visited coffee shop and sandwich bar companies in the UK and contributed a total revenue of 255 million British pounds to the UK coffee shop industry in 2015.

Although the chain falls behind other brands in the global coffee shop market, Caffè Nero is still a favorite among UK consumers. In terms of customer satisfaction and likelihood to recommend, the brand was rated above the two biggest coffeehouse chains in the UK, Costa and Starbucks, two years in a row. With its European style coffeehouse theme, the brand was also rated higher on atmosphere and staff friendliness than some of its main competitors in 2016.
