Population of Finland 2009-2019, by region of origin

As of 2019, roughly 5.1 million out of Finland's total population of 5.52 million were of Finnish origin. The majority of non-Finnish inhabitants were immigrants from Europe including Cyprus and Turkey. Around 222 thousand inhabitants were of European origin, followed by 125 thousand inhabitants of Asian origin.
