RFU: incident rates of the most common training injuries recorded 2020/2021
For the 2020/2021 season, the most common training injuries recorded by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) were of the hamstring muscle, which showed an incident rate of 0.36 per 1,000 hours of time trained. This was shortly followed by the injuries of the quadriceps muscle which showed an incident rate of 0.26 per 1,000 hours of time trained in 2020/2021.
