The source adds: "since January 2008, the law is changed such that a debtor will only be declared bankrupt, if sufficient funds are present to pay the creditors at the end of the bankruptcy. If funds are insufficient, the debt restructuring plan will be ended without a clean slate. The remaining debts are reactivated and the creditors can use all means to collect their claims again. Debt restructuring plans ending like this, will be mentioned under 'without effect', along with any other endings that don't involve a clean slate, agreement or bankruptcy."
